The Cause Laga Handbags was created to help survivors of the Tsunami that devastated Indonesia in 2004. We started with twelve women who had lost everything. Rebuilding their lives, homes and hearts, one handbag at a time. Today,Laga Handbags continues to be a haven of hope in Indonesia, providing income and education to many, many more. Each handbag is hand stitched on an old fashioned treadle sewing machine. A labor of love, from one woman to another.
